What is Curier?

Curier is a parcel delivery service for online shops and businesses in the Republic of Moldova. We deliver from our warehouse in Chișinău, from 50 MDL per parcel, and collect cash on delivery (COD) for you.

How much does parcel delivery cost?

50 MDL in the Municipality of Chișinău and 70 MDL outside it, for a parcel of up to 2 kg. Each started kilogram over 2 kg adds 4 MDL.

The price depends on the delivery address and the weight, not the distance.

How much is a parcel heavier than 2 kg?

Add 4 MDL for each started kilogram over 2 kg. A 3.4 kg parcel is 2 kg over the limit, so delivery in Chișinău costs 58 MDL.

If the parcel weighs differently at our warehouse than declared, the price is recalculated on the actual weight.

Is the price the same for everyone?

These are the standard prices. Sellers with a contract may have individual prices per zone and for cash on delivery.

How much does cash on delivery cost?

3% of the amount collected from the recipient, on top of the delivery price. For a parcel in Chișinău with 1,000 MDL cash on delivery, the fee is 30 MDL and the delivery costs 80 MDL in total.

What if the recipient pays less than the cash-on-delivery amount?

The 3% fee is charged on the amount actually collected. If the recipient pays 800 MDL of a 1,000 MDL COD, the fee drops to 24 MDL and the delivery costs 74 MDL instead of 80 MDL.

Who holds the money until it is paid out?

The courier hands the cash in at the cash desk of our warehouse in Chișinău, where it is counted and recorded against each parcel. Your account shows every payout with the parcels it covers.

How do I receive the cash collected on delivery?

In cash, at our warehouse in Chișinău. Our accountant prepares the payout and you collect it, signing with an identity document.

Bank transfer is not available yet. Delivery charges for returned parcels are deducted from the payout.

What do I pay if the recipient refuses the parcel?

Only the delivery, without the cash-on-delivery fee: 50 MDL for a parcel up to 2 kg in Chișinău, instead of 80 MDL with 1,000 MDL cash on delivery.

The parcel comes back to our warehouse in Chișinău.

If the recipient changes their mind, do I pay for delivery twice?

No. The parcel can be delivered again, and if that delivery succeeds you pay the full price once: 80 MDL in the example with 1,000 MDL cash on delivery.

What do I pay if the recipient keeps only part of the order?

The delivery, plus 3% of the amount collected, plus the delivery price once more for the returned part. If the recipient keeps goods worth 500 MDL, you pay 50 MDL + 15 MDL + 50 MDL = 115 MDL.

The refused items come back to our warehouse in Chișinău, where you collect them.

How do I get my returned parcels back?

You collect them at our warehouse in Chișinău and sign for them. Until then the parcel stays with us, and your account shows the status of every parcel.

How do I send parcels with Curier?

Our team opens your seller account. Once signed in, add orders one at a time or import a CSV file.

Shops with their own system can create orders automatically through the partner REST API; its documentation is public.

How can the recipient track the parcel?

For orders created through the partner API you get a tracking link to send to the recipient. The link works until 14 days after delivery.

You see the status of every parcel in your account.

How do I check an address before creating the order?

Your operators can check the address on our address-check page with an access code we issue. The page writes the address in Romanian, in the form the courier needs.
